A little about the videos... if you couldn't tell, all the videos were taken with my cell phone. I started making artsy little videos with my phone over a year ago. I knew I wanted to use them for something, but didn't know what. After I finished Top Songs, I wanted to do videos for all the songs like I did for Cinephile, if only to trick people who were looking for the songs I used the titles from. With my busy comic schedule, I knew I couldn't do anything too complicated. I remembered I already had a stash of videos waiting to be used, and that was that. Each video picks up the clip where the last one left off. In my mind the clips work together to present several running themes and have a vague story to them.

I believe hat I invented a new genre of music with this song: electronic rockabilly.

Yesterday I posted the first page of The Ballad of YFB Vol 2: Cut Off. I think this is the book where it really gets interesting. It's where things start to get weird anyway. You don't necessarily need to have read Vol 1 to understand anything in Volume 2, but if you want to catch up, Volume 1 starts here.

I'm taking a week off from The Ballad of YFB between volumes one and two, so every weekday this week and next I'll post a video for a song from my last album, Top Songs.

We posted a new song on the tow knee chavez myspace page. It's called Mr. Right, and has a more Caribbean feel to it.

@deantrippe pointed out that as of this past Saturday, Batman has been around for 70 years. "70 Year Old Batman" meme, anyone?

Today was my 100th post on My Life in Scribbles. There have actually been more than 100 comics between Three on the Third and Hourly Comics Day, but rather than count all those individually, the post count is a nice way to keep track. I guess this isn't even my 100th day in a row of doing the comic, since there were two posts before I went daily... but it's still something, right?
